All 3 of us kept Sunnie veryveryvery busy.
she was bustling among us like a busy bee.
we were all transformed under her magical touch! She made us 3 happy customers =)
twas already 9pm! when we were done.
jo drove as fast as she could to mandai.
the entrance of NS looked like the tribal meetings of survivor!
we couldnt contain our excitement!!
felt like it was back to the pri sch excursion days.
it started to drizzle.
but we went ahead with the ride through the RAINforest anyhow.
the cranky meyling incessantly attempted to snap picutres of the beastly animals.
the guide hadda warn her in between introducing those animals.
so maluating!
jo and i were mortified.
the rhinos deers tapirs were so near!!!
they could have easily dashed towards us.
the cape giraffes are really tall.
and the deers' antlers are very pretty.
like pieces of crafted art.
too bad these nocturnal animals are sensitive to light.
no pictures thus.
but the 45min tram ride was thrilling nonetheless.
ben and meyling wanted to respond to their adventurous natures.
thus we had no choice but to follow them into the leopard trail, forest giants trail, fishing cat trail.albeit reluctant.
the routes were absolutely DARK with tall grasses and bushes at our sides.
and the thought that all those animals are not kept in any enclosures or sort.
i couldnt help but think some beast will jump out from the bushes.
it almost drove me crazy.
AHHHHH!
the mangrove walk with B-A-T-S was possibly the ultimatum.
those freaking bats and flying foxes were freaking everywhere!
they flew so low they almost landed on ben's head.
all of us cuddled and squatted down and screamed like nobody's business!
jo almost burst out in tears.
totally traumatising!!!
all in all the venture was FUN-tastic...
it was the perfect company for such an outing!
the light drizzle made the trip extra nice in a queer way...
we had ben & jerry's for supper!!
*bliss*
