Went to the closing ceremony of National Stadium with Shaina!
It was my 1st time watching The Lions play on the field.
Was kinda excited.
Though they played erm. rather badly.
I only knew about lionel lewis' existence in the team.
Now I know there's also Precious and shi jia yi!
These few seem to be the more prominent figures.
The spectators were screaming their names on a more regular basis.HA.
Activities during a match includes the 'kallang wave/roar' and the blowing of horns.
Cheap thrill.
All in all the ceremony was somewhat boring.
We were pretty much stoning for the bulk of the time.
The finale was the fireworks.
Only highlight of the night i guess.

Honestly I do feel a wee bit of nostalgia with the tearing down of the national stadium.
The stadium where my chung cheng days of annual combined sports meet was held.
The stadium where I attended the SYFs to cheer my brother on when he was in the tk band.
The stadium where I was at the NDP with my family all geared in ponchos.
Quite abit of memories there.
