BKK (2 Aug-6 Aug)

Shopped till we dropped.
Exactly what we planned our itinery to be.
There were a few unplanned visits thou.
Like we went for the pussypingpong show(gasp!), the calypso cabaret plus the 1 day tour to the various temples the palace and cruise on the chao praya river.

We thought it was only gonna be the 4 of us.(me,jo,aunt rena, mav)
But there were 3 OTHERS at the airport.
They're nice people anyhow.
Lets just say I'm glad I had the company of dear jo.
All that bathing with open doors sharing of private jokes and laughing out loud before we end the nights.
Oh! And she navigates pretty well.
We ventured on our own to chatuchak and pratunam!
Unfolding our big maps everywhere we turn.
Pretty not bad huh.
And our bargaining skills has definitely improved by leaps and bounds!
Wahaa.
Our legs got so tired after rounds of chatuchak we gave up walking and hopped on the tuktuk.
For now, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Jo's attempt at her artistic shots.

The very cramped seats on board TigerAir.
Hello BKK!

Our 1st dinner/supper

The 10 course american brekkie we love!

Pathumwan Princess. And thats Miss 20-yr-old & Mr 36-yr-old.
The stylo sch uniform VS the super long skirts.

Not so fantastic MBK
SAWASDEEKA Much needed pedi. Dig that!
The hot pot resturant. All the waiters put down whatver they're doing at 6pm and did a dance for the diners. Damn cool.
Somewhat like our paragon.

Suan Lum Bazaar rawks.
Check out his air hat!

Mr 'pipipi' aka 'dua kang'

The adults

He's one good looking shy guard. He was literally shaking when we went near him. Completely terrorized by us two.

The KING

Exquisite oriental carvings

The temple in the palace

The palace was too big we had to rent the buggies to tour around.

Little Dumbo

One of the princess' residence

The greens & the blue

The head of the buddha is gone

Whats left of the temples

Under the bodhi tree. The body has disappeared over the years.

The only buddha thats left intact. The rest are all without the heads and 1 of their arms gone.

Lunch cruise back to the city

Murky waters of the Chao Praya

Tuk Tuk!

The 4 of us finally.
