While at tuition,


Smart alec student: You know I used to hate doing homework and refused to hand in my work.

Me: So why the sudden change?

Smart alec student: It sounds ridiculous but I think it's because I started reading Harry Potter.

Me: (Uh huh. I know reading helps improve your languages. I didnt know it'll make you a maths and science whizzkid as well.)

Smart alec student: Cos at book 3, I read about how Hermoine Granger took up so many subjs at school and even tried to turn back time so that she could do well. And I was very inspired by that. I wanted to be like her. JK Rowling is such a great author.

Me: OH.






You know it makes me wanna start reading Harry Potter too.
I am so in need of that kinda inspiration.
